Doc’s Street Grill started as a mobile food concession and catering company in 2012 specializing in Caribbean street food. I started the business part-time while working in corporate finance. I started off doing small local festivals as a hobby and a way to learn the food business. Early on it was mostly a labor of love but I always believed in my vision. Due to continued growth on the festival scene we were able to gain the exposure necessary to get us to where we are today.
We opened our first restaurant location in Roanoke Texas on July 29, 2019. It’s been a long road and we’re excited to showcase our expanded menu. We will have island stir fry bowls, grilled shrimp, Caribbean grilled chicken, jerk chicken, jerk pork, wings, Caribbean stewed beans, island fried rice, collard greens, plantains and patties.
On the special events side of the business you can still find us at various events such as the State Fair of Texas, NFL football games, Six Flags, NASCAR, music concerts, art festivals, food festivals, etc.
Our special events menu features several grilled items that are not only healthy but also tasty. Some of our popular items include grilled Jamaican jerk chicken on a stick, island bourbon chicken on a stick, jerk shrimp on a stick, jerk chicken wings, island veggie fried rice and our famous fresh squeezed lemonade.
We take special care to use quality ingredients in addition to our precise cooking techniques. Our flavorful spices along with our special house made sauces provide a one of a kind taste. We hope that you come and visit us at our new restaurant to see what all the talk is about.
